It is hard to explain the differences I see in my work in Reno vs Olympia. There's a level of hunger and daily craft discipline I'm experiencing with my time here in Olympia that I hadn't thought or pursued possible in Reno.
I'm making bolder choices, working every day, trusting in my gut, and unafraid of ''errors.'' I'm gathering input from every source, filing it inside me, and welcoming the insight of my studio-mate and lovely Babeduder. I'm learning to paint with the gray light of day here and am excited to take this struggle and lesson in natural light back to my future Reno studio. Here are some lessons as of late:
