MAASAI SHIELDS |
Authentic Maasai ceremonial shields were imported from a Maasai craftsman and I was charged with “altering and aging” them for decor. It was hard to reconcile altering things so beautiful, so not of my own culture, and valuable. After much research, every effort was made to maintain the integrity while achieving the task.
